About The Position

HealthOne Medical & Wellness is seeking a Licensed Optician to join the launch of their new Toronto Metro Centre Clinic. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing multidisciplinary health and wellness clinic, contributing to the establishment of a new downtown location. The role involves working with an experienced team in a modern environment, building patient relationships, and influencing the delivery of care. As an early member of the team, you will help shape the clinic's culture and clinical experience from the ground up.

Requirements

Registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of Opticians.
Exceptional interpersonal, client interaction & communication skills, and the ability to relate to different personalities.
Charismatic with a solid ability to educate patients on different lens options and empower patients to select their preferred frames.
1+ years experience in the eye care field, though new grads welcomed and encouraged to apply!
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet patient volume demands.

Responsibilities

Deliver personalized, high-quality eye care experiences with a genuine passion for the optical field.
Guide patients through frame selection, take precise measurements, dispense glasses and contact lenses, and perform accurate fit adjustments.
Provide friendly and knowledgeable support to Optometrists, including pre-testing procedures and patient education.
Maintain attention to detail in all aspects of the role, from patient services to administrative tasks such as appointment booking and inventory management.
Collaborate with the Marketing team to promote awareness and understanding of the value of Opticianry services.
