About The Position
St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a Full Time Optician II for the HIMG Optometry Department. The Optician II will design, measure, fit, and adapt lenses and frames for clients according to written optical prescriptions or specifications. This role involves assisting clients with frame selection and taking measurements for eyeglass size, coordinating frames with facial and eye measurements and optical prescriptions.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required.
- ABO Certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in area of specialty preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, measure, fit, and adapt lenses and frames for client according to written optical prescription or specification.
- Assist client with selecting frames.
- Measure customer for size of eyeglasses and coordinate frames with facial and eye measurements and optical prescription.
