About The Position

Infinity Eye Care is looking for an Optician / Eyewear Stylist to join their small, close-knit team. They are an independent, locally owned eye care practice that believes patients should receive more than great eye care—they should have a genuinely great experience from the moment they walk through our doors. They are looking for someone who is warm, dependable, motivated, team-oriented, and comfortable with sales. Optical experience is a plus, but personality, work ethic, and the ability to connect with people are just as important.

Is comfortable with sales. You aren't afraid to make recommendations or ask for the sale—but you understand that great sales come from listening, educating, and building trust rather than being pushy.

Nice To Haves

Previous optical experience is preferred
Strong experience in Retail sales
Strong experience in Luxury or specialty retail

Strong experience in Medical or dental offices

Responsibilities

Help patients select frames that complement their style, personality, prescription, and lifestyle
Educate patients about lens options and confidently recommend products that will improve their vision and everyday experience
Create an enjoyable, personalized eyewear-shopping experience
Take accurate measurements and ensure eyewear fits properly
Adjust, dispense, troubleshoot, and repair eyewear
Explain insurance benefits, pricing, and payment options clearly
Follow up with patients and help resolve concerns
Help maintain an attractive, organized optical gallery
Contribute to the success of the optical department by working toward team sales and capture-rate goals
Jump in and help your teammates when needed
