About The Position

The Optician, Dual Licensed reports to the Vision Centre Manager and provides the Store with expertise on the ordering and dispensing of quality eyewear while maximizing sales and profit, maintaining exemplary customer service by adhering to the 3 Basic Beliefs and values of Wal-Mart. The role involves developing the optical business through executing programs and promoting the Walmart brand. It also requires building collaborative relationships with Optometrists and other healthcare providers within Walmart and the community. The Optician will expertly guide customers in selecting frames and lenses suited to their lifestyle, wardrobe, prescription, and budget. They will proactively identify root causes, anticipate needs, exceed customer expectations, and deliver effective solutions. Exceptional customer service includes providing accurate measurements, expertly adjusting and fitting eyewear, and performing all tasks with meticulous attention to detail. Ensuring all finished eyewear meets the highest standards of accuracy and quality is crucial for delivering exceptional products to customers. The Optician must be in good standing with the respective College of Opticians.

Requirements

• Age - 16 or older
• Optician License - glasses and contact lenses
• Must be in good standing with the respective College of Opticians.
