  • Experience with silicon photonics.
  • Experience with Co-Packaged Optics (CPO).
  • Experience with DSP-based optical modules.
  • Experience with linear-drive optics.
  • Knowledge of IEEE 802.3 Ethernet specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain test solutions for 800G and 1.6T optical transceivers.
  • Design production test flows for PCBA, optical assembly, final module testing, and system-level validation.
  • Define test specifications, limits, guard bands, and release criteria.
  • Improve test coverage, throughput, and manufacturing efficiency while maintaining product quality.
  • Develop automated test software and scripts using Python, C#, LabVIEW, or similar tools.
  • Create test reports, dashboards, and automated data collection systems.
  • Support test equipment calibration and maintenance activities.
  • Work with manufacturing, process, and product engineering teams to resolve issues affecting production output.
  • Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Analyze production yield data using statistical methods and identify failure trends and process variations affecting product quality.
  • Develop data-driven improvement plans to increase yield and reduce manufacturing costs.
  • Perform electrical, optical, and firmware-level debugging of failing modules.
  • Investigate failures related to DSP devices, laser assemblies, optical engines, high-speed electrical interfaces, firmware, and calibration processes.
  • Generate detailed failure analysis reports and corrective action plans.
  • Support New Product Introduction from engineering validation through high-volume manufacturing.
  • Develop manufacturing test plans and qualification procedures.
  • Validate test equipment and manufacturing readiness before production release.
  • Collaborate with design teams to improve Design-for-Test and Design-for-Manufacturability.
