Optical Test Technician III

IDEX•West Henrietta, NY

About The Position

The Optical Test Technician performs final optical assembly optimization and testing to ensure accuracy, repeatability, and performance within defined requirements. The role executes optical tests, interprets results, and supports mechanical and optical adjustments to improve product performance. It also provides feedback to the assembly team on build quality and performance. Work takes place in a controlled clean-room manufacturing environment and requires knowledge of optical theory, testing methods, and performance variation. This is a B-Shift position, with hours of 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The position works with sensitive optical assemblies and optical test equipment and requires compliance with clean-room gowning and contamination-control protocols. The compensation range is $48,000 to $72,000, depending on experience. The position may be eligible for a performance-based bonus plan. Applicants for certain roles involving controlled goods and technologies may need to qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR/EAR regulations. IDEX Materials Science Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
