Optical Systems Principal Engineer

Marvell TechnologySanta Clara, CA
$158,600 - $237,600

About The Position

Join a world-class dynamic team to enable the next generation of AI revolution. The Connectivity business unit aims to provide world-class DSP solutions for optical communications from inside data center of 300 meters to long haul links spaning thousands of kilometers. The mission of the Connectivity optical system group is to lead the development of leading-edge DSP for coherent and IMDD optical communications. The team is responsible for providing performance assessment of future product roadmap by building optical evaluation platforms with state-of-the-art electro-optical components and DSP test chips to build simulation models, validate performance with offline DSP processing, and provide reference design. The team is also responsible for conducting post-silicon performance verification in a completely automated testing environment with 2000 km of single-mode fiber, pdl, and PMD. A successful candidate will help expand the team's capability in electro-optical components modeling and offline DSP processing and participate in post-silicon verification.
