Eye Vision Associates is looking for a passionate and personable Optical Sales Associate to join our team in Nesconset, NY! Requirements
- Prior optical sales or dispensing experience preferred
- Familiarity with ophthalmic lenses, frames, and vision insurance plans (VSP, EyeMed, etc.)
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately process orders and prescriptions
- ABO certification a plus, but not required
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-facing environment
- Proficiency with optical dispensing software or point-of-sale systems is a bonus

Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting frames, lenses, and optical products that meet their vision and lifestyle needs
- Interpret prescriptions and educate patients on lens options, coatings, and upgrades
- Process optical orders accurately and coordinate with lab for timely delivery
- Perform frame adjustments and minor repairs to ensure proper fit
- Maintain and merchandise optical dispensary displays and frame inventory
- Build lasting patient relationships to drive repeat business and referrals
- Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals
