About The Position

HealthOne Medical & Wellness is seeking an Optical Sales Associate to join their new Toronto Metro Centre clinic, opening in early November. This role is crucial in creating excellent patient experiences by guiding frame choices, educating on lenses and eye care products, and assisting with clinical and front desk tasks. The associate will work within a supportive team dedicated to exceptional, patient-focused care in a rapidly growing department.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience in a patient-facing or retail sales role, preferably within a healthcare or optical setting.
Strong client service skills with a genuine passion for delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a flexible attitude and willingness to take on diverse responsibilities.

Nice To Haves

Experience using CRM or EMR systems, particularly Optosys software
Interest or background in eye care, fashion, or a related industry

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-focused service to ensure every individual feels heard, supported, and receives a consistently exceptional (5-star) experience.
Guide patients through the frame selection process with expertise, offering personalized recommendations based on style, comfort, and prescription needs.
Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and eye care products, staying within your scope of practice and promoting optimal eye health.
Support optometrists with pre-testing procedures, ensuring efficiency and professionalism in every clinical interaction.
Manage front desk responsibilities with meticulous attention to detail, including appointment scheduling, confirmations, billing, payments, and accurate data entry.
Ensure seamless clinic flow by providing reliable administrative support and adhering to clinic policies and procedures.
Contribute to team goals and clinic success through active participation in process improvement, patient satisfaction initiatives, and business growth strategies.
Identify opportunities to enhance the patient experience and collaborate with management to support ongoing clinic performance and service excellence.
