About The Position

As an optical laboratory Technician, your responsibilities include handling all optical laboratory duties. Must have over five years of experience managing a high-volume optical laboratory and a comprehensive background in end-to-end eyewear production. Must have the ability to perform all aspects of lab functionality, including lens finishing, digital tracing, and rigorous QA inspections to ensure every pair of eyewear meets ANSI specifications. Must have a proven track record of managing complex eyewear assembly and coordinating lens turnaround times to significantly reduce late jobs. Beyond technical production, Proven track record to be involved in staff training, equipment maintenance, and the integration of lab management software to streamline workflows. Highly skilled at identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and cost savings, we welcome the ability in making actionable recommendations to management regarding new technologies. This approach combines technical expertise in lensometry and edger maintenance with a strong focus on professional communication and customer service. Equipped with exceptional interpersonal skills to deliver top-notch customer service You are an excellent communicator who can explain technical terms in a way that customers and not licensed team members can understand. Requirements
