About The Position

This role is responsible for supporting associates' skill maintenance by coordinating and facilitating certification courses, such as American Board of Opticians, and Computer Based Learning (CBL) courses. The coordinator will also prepare, review, analyze, and monitor various reports, logs, and forms, including user ID reports and training participation records. A key aspect of the role involves developing training programs and materials by conducting needs analyses, identifying and creating content, adapting existing materials, and evaluating training effectiveness. The position requires strong communication skills to interact with customers, suppliers, and other associates verbally and in writing. The role emphasizes a culture of belonging, respect, integrity, and a commitment to serving customers and striving for excellence through continuous improvement and adaptability.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an optical environment (for example, lab, vision center, optometrist office) OR Previous experience training other associates/employees

Responsibilities
