As a Lab Technician, you will be involved in crafting lenses, operating lab equipment, and performing quality checks to ensure every pair meets company standards. This role is crucial for keeping production running smoothly so customers receive their eyewear seeing and looking their best. Eyeglass World is a destination where style, precision, and quality eye care converge. The position offers Sundays off as the stores are closed.

Requirements

Ability to learn how to operate and maintain lab machinery and equipment.
Detail oriented. Must be able to accurately transcribe words and numbers.
Professional attitude and appearance.
Achieve and maintain the highest level of customer service.

Nice To Haves

Previous lab experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate all lab machinery to fabricate quality eyewear that conforms to Company standards and tolerances.
Perform machine maintenance.
Makes certain that store cleanliness and waste disposal policies are adhered to at all times.
Maintain awareness of same day service using “Ready When Promised” production board.
Accurately and promptly complete all required paperwork/documentation.
Builds strong, supportive, and constructive relationships with doctors, peers and company leaders.
