About The Position

The purpose of this job is to deliver world-class service and drive sales and profit outcomes through interpretation of optical prescriptions, fit and service optical appliances such as spectacle frames and lenses. In addition, the role contributes to meeting sales targets and driving promotions and special campaigns.

Requirements

• Must be a permanent resident, Australian Citizen or hold full working rights
• Successful candidates must complete a criminal history check

Responsibilities

• Deliver world class service and drive sales and profit outcomes through interpretation of optical prescriptions, fit and service optical appliances such as spectacle frames and lenses.
• Contribute to meeting sales targets and driving promotions and special campaigns.
• Provide recommendations and guidance to customers on frame selections and lens options.
• Assist in frame adjustment and repairs as required.
• Support Store Manager and State Manager with other activities as required.
• Monitor the progress of customer’s job request and notify the customer accordingly if there is any delay.
• Assist customer in HICAPS claim in accordance with Bupa guidelines and procedures.
• Update and maintain customer records in accordance with Bupa guidelines and procedures.
• Participate in activities to ensure smooth operations of the store as per the request of the Store Manager, this includes but not limited to stock-take, merchandise, store presentation and cleanliness.
