About The Position

Join our team at solis optics - Sudbury - Elm Street, as an Optical Associate! Join us in making a meaningful impact on people's lives - one frame at a time. This position is a part-time role working 20-29 hours per week. Our location is open Monday to Friday.

Requirements

Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within a retail environment
Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for connecting with customers and providing exceptional experiences
A collaborative, adaptable, and proactive team player, able to manage changing priorities effectively

Nice To Haves

Previous optical experience is considered an asset

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome customers, manage customer check-in and check-out
Engage with customers in person, by phone, and via email
Coordinate appointments, prepare prescription printouts
Educate customers on eyewear options tailored to their lifestyle, ensuring optimal value and quality
Guide customers in selecting eyewear that combines style with optimal vision
Support frame and facial measurements alongside an Optician, ensuring proper fit and positioning of new eyewear
Assist with contact lens orders
Manage billing and payments for patients, insurers and other third parties
Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure a positive customer experience
Support store operations by performing additional duties as required
