About The Position

To assist in the delivery of primary health care and patient care management in a clinical capacity. Daily responsibilities of the position are based solely on the needs of the practice at any given time.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent (college degree would accept in lieu of diploma or GED)
  • Graduation from an Ophthalmology Technician Program, or Scribe program, or 3-5 years of relevant clinical experience in an Ophthalmology practice preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides directly and through delegation patient care for facility clients.
  • Ensures efficient delivery of healthcare services throughout the duration of the patient visit.
  • Assist with testing and treatment procedures under the Physicians supervision.
  • Ensures all patient care areas, equipment and materials are appropriately stocked and maintained.
  • All other duties as assigned
