About The Position

On our team, you'll serve as an IO Planner with a focus on OPSEC at a Combatant Command, to support the development, implementation, and management of comprehensive OPSEC programs to protect critical information and mitigate risks. You'll coordinate and integrate OPSEC planning and execution across Joint Staff, components, and interagency partners. You'll provide subject matter expertise in OPSEC principles, risk assessment, and vulnerability analysis during mission planning and execution, and develop and deliver high-quality OPSEC plans, risk assessments, staff estimates, and operational analysis reports. You'll conduct research and analysis to inform client leadership and ensure compliance with DoD OPSEC policies and directives. You'll also mentor and supervise team members, as needed, while working independently with minimal direction. Requirements

  • Experience developing and delivering OPSEC training programs
  • Experience operating in a multinational environment and working in a strategic-level staff
  • Knowledge of OPSEC principles, risk assessment methodologies, and vulnerability analysis
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree and 14+ years of experience in a joint environment, or Master’s degree and 10+ years of experience in a joint environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Joint Staff organizational decision-making processes
  • Knowledge of joint planning publications, authorities, and permissions
  • PMP or Lean Six Sigma Certification
