OPS Student Assistant Graphic Designer

About The Position

This position involves designing various print materials such as signage, posters, banners, and displays. The role requires creating and editing layouts using Adobe InDesign and Illustrator, and preparing artwork for printing. The assistant will also contribute to event materials, publications, and promotional graphics, making revisions based on feedback and adhering to UF and DCP brand standards. Additionally, the role includes organizing design files and project assets. This is a time-limited position with a flexible schedule of up to 20 hours per week, accommodating classes.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a University of Florida student.
  • Experience using Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Basic understanding of typography, layout, color, and graphic design principles.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop.
  • Experience designing for print, signage, or large-format graphics.
  • Familiarity with preparing files for professional printing.
  • Students from graphic design, visual communication, advertising, architecture, digital arts, and related programs are encouraged to apply.
