This is a full-time OPS (Other Personnel Services) position with the Department of Health, Division of Medical Quality Assurance, Bureau of Enforcement, Investigative Services Unit in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The incumbent is responsible for assisting in the coordination of complex administrative tasks and assignments, involving independent planning of administrative objectives and priorities. Key duties include monitoring and performing indexing, scanning, and quality control of investigative documents and case files; reviewing case preparation and processing; ensuring deadlines are met; performing data entry for investigations, inspections, and other activities; managing purchasing card responsibilities and acting as a procurement liaison; tracking purchase orders and invoices; maintaining procurement records; completing monthly reconciliation reports; assisting with training administrative and investigative staff on paperwork; acting as a property delegate and managing surplus equipment; overseeing supplies, furniture, and equipment, including computer needs and repairs; maintaining an inventory of forms and office supplies; compiling statistics and producing reports; responding to consumer and licensee inquiries; and preparing correspondence regarding investigative cases.
