About The Position

The Department of Art, Art History & Design at the University of North Florida (UNF) is seeking mature, reliable applicants who are not currently enrolled UNF students to serve as figure models for studio art classes. Models will pose nude (not clothed/dressed) for classes consisting of approximately 18 students and one professor in a supervised studio environment.

• Must apply to JR102868 – Studio Art Model (Open) if a current student
• This position requires a background check.
• This position may also require a credit check.
• The holder of this position is designated as a “Responsible Employee" pursuant to their role under Title IX. Therefore, the incumbent must promptly report allegations of sexual misconduct, sexual violence, and child sexual abuse by or against any student, employee, contractor, or visitor to the University’s Title IX Administrator or any divisional Title IX Coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Ability to hold poses for 15–20 minutes at a time with minimal movement
• Perform poses that may include standing, seated, reclining, twisting, or other positions as requested by the instructor
• Comfortably pose nude in a professional academic setting
• Communicate with the professor if a pose becomes uncomfortable or difficult to maintain
• Make minor adjustments (e.g., shifting weight) or suggest a similar sustainable pose when necessary
