This position is responsible for building, maintaining, repairing, and placing trash/recycling receptacles across campus. The role involves performing basic preventive maintenance, cleaning, and repair tasks for the Recycling and Solid Waste Department's assets. Additionally, the position requires driving a state vehicle to collect pallets from various campus locations and operating a forklift to load pallets onto trucks. The employee will maintain collection quantities and report to the Operations Manager. Responsibilities also include assisting in the removal of recyclables, solid waste, and other debris from campus as needed. A post-offer health assessment, a Valid Class E Driver’s License, and passing a forklift driving test are required for this role.
