About The Position
This position involves performing grounds maintenance and landscape installation duties. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, maintenance of turf, landscape, and irrigation; litter control; and setup for special events. Specific duties will be determined by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Requires a background check.
- May require a credit check in conjunction with the University's policy.
- The incumbent must promptly report allegations of sexual misconduct, sexual violence, and child sexual abuse by or against any student, employee, contractor, or visitor to the University’s Title IX Administrator or any divisional Title IX Coordinator as this position is designated as a “Responsible Employee” pursuant to their role under Title IX.
Responsibilities
- Mowing
- Weed eating
- Edging asphalt and cement surfaces
- Plant bed maintenance
- Equipment/shop maintenance
- Landscape construction
- Special projects/events
- Participate in special event set-ups and other work
- Assist with campus maintenance emergencies
- Assist with new utilities installation and maintenance of existing utilities
- Manages work orders
- Raking leaves
