About The Position

The OPS Graduate Admissions Office Assistant supports the daily operations of the Graduate Admissions office by providing front-line customer service and administrative support. This position serves as the first point of contact for prospective students, visitors, and campus partners while ensuring a welcoming, organized, and efficient admissions experience. Typical duties include, but are not limited to: Greets and assists visitors, applicants, and campus guests in a professional and friendly manner. Answers and routes incoming phone calls, provides general information, and takes accurate messages. Responds to basic inquiries regarding graduate programs, application processes, and office procedures. Maintains an organized, clean, and welcoming reception area. Assists with administrative tasks including data entry, filing, document preparation, and record maintenance. Supports admissions events such as information sessions and campus visits. Collaborates with admissions staff to ensure smooth daily operations and timely communication. Other Duties Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with email, phone systems, and basic office software.
