The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) Division of Marine Fisheries Management is seeking an OPS Fisheries & Wildlife Bio Scientist IV. This role serves as a subject matter expert for state management of fisheries, supporting ongoing and future agency work. The position involves data collection, analysis, development of outreach materials, conducting outreach and education, and responding to public inquiries. The role also focuses on developing and maintaining relationships with fisheries stakeholders, identifying management issues, interpreting data, and assisting with public workshops and meetings. Additionally, the position supports fishery disaster assessments, gathers historical regulatory information for rulemaking, and provides support on special assignments.
