About The Position

This is a paid training opportunity to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at the Clifford C. Sims, State Veterans' Nursing Home in Panama City, Florida. CNAs work closely with patients, assisting with daily living activities such as dressing, bathing, feeding, and monitoring vital signs in a long-term care facility. This program offers a chance to enter a growing career field with guaranteed employment after successful completion of the training and certification.

Requirements

• Able to attend class Monday - Friday during the training program.
• Must be willing to work weekends and holidays as scheduled once the course is completed.
• Successful completion of the due diligence process, including a Level II background check and drug test.
• Must register for the certification testing, both clinical and written, within 45 days of graduation.
• Must successfully pass the certification testing, both clinical and written, within 120 days of graduation.

Nice To Haves

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Willing and able to work a 7pm - 7am shift upon completion of the trainee program.

Responsibilities
