About The Position

Aptiv is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting people with disabilities through innovative programs and services. Opportunity Enterprises (OE), operated by Aptiv, is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to oversee manufacturing and packaging operations while supporting business growth and customer relationships. The Opportunity Enterprises Director will lead daily production operations, drive continuous improvement efforts, support revenue growth initiatives, and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• 4+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, packaging, printing, or related industries
• Experience managing high-volume production operations
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Experience managing budgets and operational performance
• Experience leading teams in a production environment

Nice To Haves

• Lean/Six Sigma experience or certification
• Warehousing or inventory management experience
• Experience in corrugated, flexible packaging, labeling, or plastics manufacturing
• Business development or customer-facing experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing and packaging operations including production, staffing, scheduling, and maintenance
• Ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery goals are met
• Lead process improvement initiatives and monitor operational performance metrics
• Manage budgets, operational costs, and strategic planning efforts
• Lead and support supervisors, managers, and production staff
• Partner with Sales and Executive Leadership on customer growth and business development opportunities
• Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and suppliers
