About The Position

As an OPIR Systems Engineer, you will translate customer IT needs and future goals into plans by crafting and managing emerging satellite architectures for national security space programs. You will help transform how national space programs use technology through cloud migration, integration of advanced technology, and modernization of legacy systems. The role also involves mentoring developers as they grow into solutions architects. The position requires a Top Secret clearance and a high school diploma or GED.

Requirements

Experience with national security satellite systems for SIGINT or GEOINT.
Experience with large DoD or IC satellite ground systems, including OPIR.
Experience with mission systems and technically interfacing with mission management planners and operators.
Knowledge of mission needs and ability to convey software platform capabilities.
Top Secret clearance.
High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

Experience with satellite mission management systems.
Experience developing solutions in classified Cloud environments in the Intelligence Community or DoD.
Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
Experience with Linux and Cloud technologies.
Knowledge of Agile and DevSecOps software development.
Knowledge of automation techniques or artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph exam.
