About The Position
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking an Ophthalmologist to fill an opening with a multi-specialty practice located in Bronx, New York. The role involves providing routine eye care, performing various corrective and advanced surgical procedures, diagnosing and treating eye diseases and injuries, managing emergency and specialist eye clinics, and treating medical disorders affecting vision through a holistic approach, including therapeutic procedures and biopsies.
Requirements
- Must have an active NY State License
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible
Responsibilities
- Provide routine care such as vision testing and prescribing glasses and contact lenses.
- Perform corrective surgeries, such as repairing injuries and corneas and removing cataracts.
- Perform advanced surgical procedures, such as keyhole or laser surgery.
- Diagnose and treat eye diseases and injuries.
- Manage emergency eye clinics, outpatient clinics, or other specialist eye clinics.
- Treat medical disorders that affect vision through a holistic approach.
- Use therapeutic procedures and perform biopsies
