About The Position
The Great Falls Clinic and Great Falls Hospital are seeking an experienced BE/BC Ophthalmologist specializing in vitreoretinal diseases (surgically trained in retina and vitreous) to join our expanding health system in Great Falls, Montana. This is an exceptional opportunity to join an established Ophthalmology program while contributing to continued growth of healthcare services in the region. The position involves inpatient/ER consults and procedures, with a full-time, Monday through Friday schedule. The clinic is equipped with advanced diagnostic tools, and there is an on-site Surgical Technologist trained in retinal surgery. The hospital is a state-of-the-art facility with a full complement of referring specialties, a busy ED, and hospitalist support.
Requirements
- BE/BC in Ophthalmology
- Surgically trained in retina and vitreous
- Eligible for Montana medical license

Responsibilities
- Specialize in vitreoretinal diseases (surgically trained in retina and vitreous)
- Join an established Ophthalmology program
- Contribute to the continued growth of healthcare services in the region
- Handle inpatient/ER consults and procedures
- Participate in a 1:4 call schedule (1 week per month), including occasional trauma
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment including ultra-widefield camera with autofluorescence and fluorescein angiography, Zeiss Cirrus 5000 OCT, and ophthalmic ultrasound
- Provide care within a patient-centered Ophthalmology program
