Requirements

Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
Residency training in Ophthalmology from an accredited program.
Board certification in Ophthalmology or Board Eligible
State medical license and eligibility for hospital privileges.
Strong surgical skills and experience in a variety of ophthalmic procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with refractive cataract surgery and premium intraocular lenses is preferred

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive eye exams, diagnose eye conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans.
Conduct surgeries, including cataract surgery, laser eye surgery, and other ophthalmic procedures.
Stay informed about advancements in ophthalmology and incorporate best practices into patient care.
Provide consultations and educate patients on eye health, treatment options, and preventive measures.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and integrated patient care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with medical standards.
