About The Position

Wolfe Eye Clinic is seeking to add a part-time Ophthalmic tester/Retina Technician in our Marshalltown clinic. This role involves performing basic patient work-ups, documenting patient history, conducting various eye tests and assessments, and managing electronic health records. The position is part-time, with scheduled days potentially falling between Monday and Friday, 7 am to 5 pm, depending on the clinical schedule. Weekly hours are estimated to be between 20-29 hours and will vary based on clinic needs.

Nice To Haves

• Lensometer experience
• OCT experience
• Electronic Medical Records experience
• Medical office experience

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient work-ups.
• Document patient history.
• Perform visual field testing.
• Measure eye pressure.
• Take diagnostic images such as OCT’s.
• Conduct lensometry assessments.
• Disinfect and maintain clinical equipment.
• Prepare, enter and maintain patient electronic health records.
• Other clinical duties as assigned.
