About The Position

Join Our Growing Ophthalmology Team as an Ophthalmic Technician! This is a full-time position with up to 32 hours a week. Locations are variable depending on OR time, includes Plymouth Meeting, Nazareth and Sewell, NJ locations. The schedule is Monday 7A to 10A, and Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 7:30A to 5P. No Wednesdays. Our established multi-specialty Ophthalmology group is seeking a skilled professional to join our friendly and dedicated team. Requirements

Proven experience as an Ophthalmic Technician.
Knowledge of medical office procedures.
Ability to perform indirect activities, administrative tasks and any other assigned duties that contribute to the efficient & high-quality performance of the medical practice.
High School Diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) Certification.

Responsibilities

Work closely with our ophthalmologists to gather comprehensive patient information, ensuring accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans.
Conduct thorough preliminary examinations, including visual acuity, pupillary responses, and more.
Administer a range of diagnostic tests, such as OCT, perimetry, and ophthalmic photography.
Support ophthalmologists during minor surgeries, laser procedures, and crosslinking.
Efficiently manage patient flow in clinic and imaging rooms, collaborating with clinical staff.
Administer eye drops.
Perform clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth and organized workflow.
