About The Position
As a technician at NC Retina Associates, your main duty is to assist in the care of patients during their visit by preparing them to see the physician. You must be able to independently seek out resources and work collaboratively with others. You must have an ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and communicate clearly with patients, families, visitors, physicians, administrators, leadership and coworkers.
Requirements
- Experience working as a technician in an Ophthalmology office.
- OCT/Fundus/FA experience.
- Scribe experience.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with MDI Intellechart.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the care of patients during their visit by preparing them to see the physician.
- Independently seek out resources and work collaboratively with others.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, visitors, physicians, administrators, leadership and coworkers.
- Aid in daily tasks of running a medical clinic.
- Assist in coordinating surgery schedules.
- Review and edit medical charts/referrals.
