About The Position

As a Full-Time Ophthalmic Technician at EYE CLINIC OF WISCONSIN, you will play a crucial role in assisting the care of patients by performing portions of the patient exam and a variety of preliminary tests as directed by physician orders. Your attention to detail is essential in ensuring that all procedures are carried out accurately and efficiently, contributing to exceptional patient outcomes. With a focus on customer care, you will interact directly with patients, making their experience comfortable and informative. Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Commitment to achieve Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) certification within two years of joining the team
  • Proficiency in the safe and efficient use of medical and office equipment
  • Ability to foster positive working relationships with both physicians and staff
  • Thrive in a fast-paced medical environment while adhering to HIPAA compliance regulations
  • Strong computer software skills, along with typing proficiency
  • Solid understanding of medical terminology and basic eye anatomy
  • Knowledge of examination equipment operation and maintenance
  • Conveying a positive attitude and the ability to work independently
