Wills Eye Hospital is hiring an Ophthalmic Technician for our Cornea Consult department in Philadelphia, PA. In this role, you will provide a variety of preliminary ocular assessment activities, including obtaining a complete and accurate medical history, visual acuity and stereo testing, lensometry, motility, applanation tonometry, pupil dilation, potential acuity meter testing, and manifest refraction/autorefractometry under the direct supervision of the Ophthalmologist/Optometrist. This is a Full-Time, 40 hours per week opportunity for someone who wants to have patient interaction without high-stress critical care, has an interest in eye health and vision care, and wants to expand their knowledge. You will support patients, providers, and clinical teams while helping deliver high-quality ophthalmic care. You will manage patient flow through the eye clinic and contribute to a positive patient experience. You will be successful if you enjoy working in a fast-paced clinical environment, have strong attention to detail, and value patient interaction.
