Requirements

High School diploma required.
Certification as an Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) JCAHPO is required.
Basic life support certification is required.

Nice To Haves

Associates degree preferred.
Certification as an Ophthalmic Technician by JCAHPO is preferred.
Prior pediatric experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Ability to effectively communicate with hospital & staff, patients, and families.
Knowledge of growth and development of infants, children, adolescent, adults and elderly patients in order to provide appropriate care.
