About The Position
Join Our Growing Ophthalmology Team as an Ophthalmic Technician! King of Prussia home location/requires travel to North Wales 1-2 days a week, Plymouth Meeting (as needed). Tuesday 7:00AM-5:00PM, Wednesday 7:00AM- 5:00 PM, Thursday 7:00AM-11:00 AM (alternating off), Friday 7:00-3:00 OCT/Fundus photography Visual Acuity, document a Chief Complaint and HPI. Part-Time up to 29 hours Our established multi-specialty Ophthalmology group is seeking a skilled professional to join our friendly and dedicated team. Requirements

- Proven experience as an Ophthalmic Technician.
- Knowledge of medical office procedures.
- Ability to perform indirect activities, administrative tasks and any other assigned duties that contribute to the efficient & high-quality performance of the medical practice.
- High School Diploma or GED.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) Certification.
- Retina Experience
Responsibilities
- Work closely with our ophthalmologists to gather comprehensive patient information, ensuring accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough preliminary examinations, including visual acuity, pupillary responses, and more.
- Administer a range of diagnostic tests, such as OCT, perimetry, and ophthalmic photography.
- Support ophthalmologists during minor surgeries, laser procedures, and crosslinking.
- Efficiently manage patient flow in clinic and imaging rooms, collaborating with clinical staff.
- Administer eye drops (Certification Required)
- Perform clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth and organized workflow.
