Requirements

High school diploma
Commitment to achieve Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) certification within one year of joining the team
Proficiency in the safe and efficient use of medical and office equipment
Ability to foster positive working relationships with both physicians and staff
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced medical environment
Adherence to HIPAA compliance regulations
Strong computer software skills
Typing proficiency
Solid understanding of medical terminology
Solid understanding of basic eye anatomy
Knowledge of examination equipment operation and maintenance
Positive attitude
Ability to work independently
