Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Commitment to achieve Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) certification within one year of joining the team
  • Proficiency in the safe and efficient use of medical and office equipment
  • Ability to foster positive working relationships with both physicians and staff
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced medical environment
  • Adherence to HIPAA compliance regulations
  • Strong computer software skills
  • Typing proficiency
  • Solid understanding of medical terminology
  • Solid understanding of basic eye anatomy
  • Knowledge of examination equipment operation and maintenance

  • Ability to work independently
