• Ophthalmology or medical office experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a high-performing team of ophthalmic technicians
• Coordinate daily clinic flow and provider support for MD and OD teams
• Train, mentor, coach, and develop staff to enhance skills and performance
• Conduct onboarding, performance evaluations, recognition, and corrective action when needed
• Communicate daily priorities, workflow updates, and operational changes to staff
• Assist in improving provider schedules and clinic efficiency to optimize patient care
• Delegate and triage tasks effectively to maintain smooth operations
• Foster positive communication between providers, staff, and patients
• Resolve concerns professionally while maintaining a calm, patient-focused environment
