About The Position

This role provides direct patient care by assisting clinicians with diagnostic and treatment-oriented procedures. Responsibilities include patient intake, performing various eye examinations such as strabismus measurement, extraocular rotation exam, sensory testing, pupil assessment, visual acuity, tonometry, lensometry, color vision testing, and visual field testing. The position also involves providing clinical support by setting up and maintaining examining rooms, equipment, and supplies, escorting patients to examining rooms, and completing miscellaneous forms. The goal is to independently provide clinician and clinic support for the Ophthalmology department.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • No directly related experience required

Responsibilities
