About The Position
Spectrum Vision Partners (SVP) supports OCLI Vision, a large multi-specialty eye care network with over 50 locations and 1,400 employees. They are committed to delivering world-class eye care and building teams that care deeply about patients. This role is an Ophthalmic Scribe/Technician who will assist providers, perform eye tests, document exams, and ensure exceptional patient care.
Requirements
- 2–3+ years in an ophthalmic or medical setting
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Friendly, dependable, and adaptable team player
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a Medical Scribe or Ophthalmic Technician (COA/COT) preferred
- Knowledge of ocular pharmacology a plus
Responsibilities
- Prepare charts/EMRs and exam rooms
- Record patient history, testing results, diagnoses, and treatment plans
- Perform eye tests (visual acuity, tonometry, dilation, OCT, etc.)
- Assist physicians during exams and minor procedures
- Maintain equipment and manage patient flow
- Ensure infection control and confidentiality at all times
