Works under minimum supervision to provide supervisory and technical skills in operation and maintenance of ACTC Ophthalmology Clinical Diagnostic Photography and Fluorescein Angiography Laboratory. Manages and supervises activities and personnel of laboratory. The Ophthalmic Photographer is responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to support patient care across both Dallas - Aston and Richardson – North Dallas locations. This role coordinates patient scheduling for ophthalmic photography and angiography, performs specialized imaging studies as ordered by physicians, and ensures timely upload of images into the Electronic Medical Record for clinical review. The Ophthalmic Photographer collaborates with physicians to evaluate image quality and assists in training in fundus photography techniques. Additionally, the role includes maintaining and troubleshooting imaging equipment and ensuring accurate, compliant management of patient records. This position involves direct patient interaction and supports both clinical care and research-related activities.
