The Ophthalmic Technician provides clinical and administrative support to the Provider to collaboratively ensure the delivery of high quality, compassionate care to CEENTA’s patients. This role involves greeting and rooming patients, obtaining and documenting medical histories, performing preliminary ophthalmic work-ups, assisting with patient examinations and procedures, administering medications, preparing laboratory specimens, acting as a scribe, explaining treatment procedures, managing provider schedules, indexing documents, and maintaining clinical rooms and equipment. The position also requires maintaining OSHA standards, managing supplies, and assisting with staff training.
