About The Position

ONEOK is seeking an Operator for their Bryan, TX terminal. This role is responsible for maintaining the pipeline and its supporting operational and monitoring equipment in compliance with regulations, company work practices, and safety standards. The Operator ensures the reliability of equipment and the accurate measurement and quality of product transported through the system. They will also develop a positive working relationship with carriers. The schedule is Monday - Friday, dayshift with some overtime and on-call responsibilities. Candidates must live within one hour of the facility or be willing to relocate.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree in Petroleum Tech or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Monitor all product movements in to and out of the terminal and/or station via unloading skid, or main line, including: mainline operations, transferring product to storage vessels; making valve lineups, operating pumps; performing product sampling, running samples for analysis on in house lab equipment; measurement of location physical stock, meters, and additive variances.
  • Input information into computer programs and perform daily facility inspections.
  • Assist drivers and customers.
  • Assist technicians with maintenance duties and perform general maintenance duties as directed by the supervisor.
  • Participate on the facility emergency response team.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures, including System Integrity Plan (SIP) and OQ requirements and implement them into location work practices.
  • Attend and actively participate in safety training meetings.
  • Perform any other tasks that may be assigned.
  • Department of Transportation (DOT) covered functions, including operations, maintenance, or emergency response on a pipeline.
  • Be alert and respond immediately to dangerous or hazardous conditions, and where impaired performance, or failure to follow safety precautions, could result in serious injury or property damage.
