About The Position

Supports the hospital by operating the switchboard. This role involves answering, screening, and transferring incoming and outgoing calls. The operator also monitors alarms and code situations to activate notification systems when directed. Calls are answered in an efficient manner, and digital pages are used as needed. Accessing patient information and using scripting for all interactions are key aspects of this position.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• 6 months as operator or in customer service
