Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
  • Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
  • Must be able to accurately read and use a tape measure.
  • Must be willing to work established shifts.
  • Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending and lifting motions over a period of time.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift driving experience preferred.
  • Computer skills desired.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating all activities on the conveyor by organizing the work orders at the load and unload stations.
  • Loading and unloading product.
  • Completing the required paperwork.
  • Assisting the Shift Supervisor/Process Supervisor in the safe operation of the system.
  • Recording input, dosimeter and unload information in the computer.
  • Loading and unloading product into totes that are sterilized through an irradiation machine.
  • Preparing dosimeters for work orders scheduled to be run.
  • Operating and taking readings on the dosimeter reader.
  • Assembling processed dosimeters with run data sheet, work orders and load/unload sheets.
  • Being familiar with and able to perform emergency procedures required by governing agencies.
  • Reporting system problems to the Shift Supervisor or the Maintenance team.
  • Knowing how to replace designated mechanical components of the system and may assist Maintenance as needed.
  • Assisting with other tasks as assigned.
