About The Position

The Operator is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the equipment used to create printed labeling on our product chassis and name plates. This includes machine operation and process using system software. The role involves verifying job order information to ensure the machine is set to correct parameters for each job, troubleshooting various pieces of equipment when issues arise, and performing operation, setup, and product changeover on the machine. The Operator will also perform visual inspections of printed parts, maintain accurate job tracking records, and follow manufacturing instructions. This position requires hands-on problem-solving and the ability to read/prepare work instructions. Responsibilities include performing all levels of preventive maintenance of the EDI Printer, occasionally changing out ink cartridges, and other duties as assigned. The role also requires practicing 6s principles.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of printer machines.
  • Focus on Quality Control
  • Safety management mindset
  • Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components that are often very small
  • Able to identify electronic components, polarities, and location designators.
  • Ability to stand for 8 or more hours in a day
  • Ability to lift up, lean over and set up to 50lbs in material
  • Ability to lift, lean, stoop, bend, and squat
  • Understanding of Bill of Materials & Drawings.
  • Reliable attendance, attention to detail, and organizational skills

Responsibilities
