Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to read, understand and apply operating procedures
Able to use computers for job functions and training
Mechanical and process troubleshooting and analytical skills
Commitment to working in a highly safety-conscious environment

Responsibilities

Perform railcar and truck loading and offloading, startup, shutdown, and general operation of pumps, screws, belts, tanks, valves, and other process equipment
Conduct regular operational rounds to monitor equipment health
Perform some minor maintenance activities
Monitor and operate equipment and associated systems within standard operating conditions and limits
Assist with startup, shut down, and operation of processes and equipment from a field role
Respond to and appropriately addresses process and equipment upsets
Identify possible or current operating problems and recommend action to resolve any deficiencies in rate, quality, or mechanical operation
Safely handle of dry products, nitric acid and liquid fertilizer while loading rail cars and trucks
Perform minor maintenance and housekeeping duties
