About The Position

We are Faber-Castell Cosmetics, a division of Faber-Castell, and a leading provider of private label cosmetic pencils (face, eye, lip, and nail). We have production facilities in Germany and Brazil and are bringing our state-of-the-art facilities, process, and knowledge to Elgin, IL. In this role, you will take ownership of your work and outcomes by operating your equipment to safety and quality standards in a clean room environment. You will ensure equipment is maintained properly, handle troubleshooting, conduct in-process quality checks, take necessary actions on non-compliance pieces, determine root causes of issues, and ensure documentation is up to date through your understanding of quality control and work requests.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of hands-on machine operator experience.
• Able to do minor maintenance work on machines.
• Organized.
• Able to follow a written process.
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Can regularly lift, push, or move up to 50 pounds.
• Can regularly climb a ladder/steps.

Responsibilities
