About The Position

This job requires unloading trucks in a safe and timely manner, keeping the receiving area clean and free from debris. Making sure fluming systems are operated correctly to avoid plug-ups. Maintain raw product flow into evenflow bins. It is important that the person that holds this role obeys all safety and GMP regulations, procedures, and practices set by the Company. Always maintain safe work practices and participate in safety programs. Guide trucks into unloading positions. Operates forklift to transport samples to ODA grading area. Monitor evenflow levels. Flume raw product into evenflows by using the HMI program. Complete CL’s, CIL’s, and FSIL’s for your respective work area. Enter in defects found in your respective work area. Unloads trucks, take samples and operate receiving equipment. Accurately completes forms as required. Accurately collects and labels raw product samples. Daily sanitation duties. Maintain a clean receiving area, which will include shoveling, use of high-pressure water hoses, and dumping of raw waste totes. Inspect raw product for foreign material. Monitor waste pit water level. Monitor waste room hopper levels. Monitor water usage in Receiving. Perform any other essential duties as assigned by Team Leader Actively participate in Company Safety and Good Manufacturing Practice Programs. Maintaining and cleaning the silt room

Requirements

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • Good communication skills; oral and written
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Skills and ability to safely use cleaning equipment around Vision Systems
  • Ability to work in adverse conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to operate hand controls and drive a Hyster
  • Good communication skills oral and written, clear radio communication
  • Ability to do repetitious arm, wrist and hand movements required for job actions and procedures
  • Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under the equipment
  • Requires manual dexterity, overall coordination and good balance to work both at ground level and in high places to perform job duties
  • Ability to operate work related equipment
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily
