Requirements

  • Two technical associate degrees or one technical associate degree in at least one discipline, plus knowledge through formal training in another discipline (e.g., On the Job Training and/or accredited courses) are required.
  • Technical associate degree should be in Industrial Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation, and/or Electronics.
  • 1 year of experience in maintenance of pharmaceutical equipment operations in general or operations.
  • Basic communication in English and Spanish
  • Read and interpret specifications, drawings, procedures in both English and Spanish
  • Teamwork oriented
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Candidate must have a strong compliance (safety, environmental and quality) mindset and sound judgement
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under minimal supervision
  • Available to support a 24/7 operations in rotating shifts

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for executing preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance tasks in more than one discipline, including Industrial Mechanics as a primary area, and Instrumentation as a secondary area of expertise, according to the established Maintenance Programs that support Production, Laboratories, Warehouse and Utilities areas.
  • As Mechanic Technician will be able to maintain in optimal operational conditions mechanical equipment such as tanks, agitators, mechanical seals, pumps, motors, transmissions, valves, pipes, rotating, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, etc.
  • As Instrument Technician will be able to maintain in optimal operational conditions instrumentation such as flowmeters, control valves, different types of measure instruments and transmitters, etc.
  • When required, analyze, evaluate and diagnostic equipment/instrument failure using appropriate tools.
  • Document following cGMP, Data Integrity requirements and follow standard procedures and job plans.
  • Maintain a work environment that complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
